Al-Terra congratulates new Professional Engineers
Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. is delighted to announce and congratulate Brendan Visscher and Dominic Dion of our Edmonton office on their achievement in obtaining their Professional Engineer designations. Thank you for all your hard work!
Brendan Visscher, P.Eng. joined Al-Terra in 2018 shortly after graduating from the University of Alberta co-operative civil engineering program. Since his start with Al-Terra, Brendan’s efforts have been predominantly focused within our Rural Transportation group, where he has gained valuable experience and knowledge as he progresses in his role. Brendan has played an integral part in the successful delivery of countless Regional Geometric Assessment assignments for the Province. He has shown continued excellence in both design and construction contract administration and proven his dedication through his long hours as our resident night paving project manager.
Dominic Dion, P.Eng. completed 20 months as a co-op student with Al-Terra before joining the firm on a permanent basis in 2018 following his graduation from the University of Alberta co-operative civil engineering program. He has been involved in some of our most challenging and interesting projects such as the Highway 13 and Highway 21 Roundabout, and Jasper Avenue New Vision. Most recently Dominic has been working on the Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion Project, from St. Albert Trail to 97 Street, which is one of the largest transportation projects ever delivered in Edmonton. Dominic has been an integral part of these projects and has gained a reputation for his fair and practical judgement. He has a keen eye for detail and consistently demonstrates strong decision-making skills in both his designs and resident engineering work.
Al-Terra has been proudly serving the evolving needs of public and private sector clients with engineering, planning and design solutions since 1976.
