Al-Terra names Brad Crossland as Manager of Transportation Planning
Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. belatedly announces the much deserved appointment of Brad Crossland, P.Eng., PTOE, RSP2 as Manager of Transportation Planning. Brad joined Al-Terra in the spring of 2006, following the completion of his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. He went on to earn his professional designation in 2011, and in December 2019 took over the reins of Al-Terra’s Transportation Planning group.
Prior to taking on his new position, Brad worked mainly in urban transportation and arterial road design. He successfully fulfilled the roles of Project Manager and Engineering Lead for various project phases, and proved himself very capable in managing complex multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinating with external utility and regulatory stakeholders.
Some of Brad’s career highlights to date include providing general municipal engineering for transportation engineering services in the City of Spruce Grove, the Terwillegar Drive Expressway Conversion in Edmonton, and the Wye Road widening in Sherwood Park. He also completed several courses related to transportation and planning, including his Road Safety Professional 1 and 2 certifications and his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certification.
