Al-Terra names Cyril Balitbit as Manager of Urban Renewal

Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. is pleased to announce that Cyril Balitbit, P.Eng., PMP, has joined our firm as Manager of Urban Renewal. Cyril comes to us from the City of Edmonton, where he worked as an Engineering Program Manager responsible for supporting transportation planning and design projects, and guiding project management staff through project planning and intake, consultant procurement, concept, preliminary design, and delivery team handover.

As a professional engineer with 13 years experience in transportation and municipal engineering design, Cyril has established himself as a leader who strives for continuous improvement and excellence. He is an effective team builder that cultivates organizational culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and trust.

After receiving his degree in civil engineering from the University of Alberta, Cyril went on to earn both PMP and P.Eng in Alberta designations. Recent career highlights include managing the planning and design of complex projects such as the 170 Street Pedestrian Bridge, Wellington Bridge Replacement, 100 Street Pedestrian Bridge, and Fort Edmonton Park Enhancement.
