Al-Terra names Fred Greenhough as Manager of Rural Transportation

Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Greenhough, P.Eng., RSP2I to Manager of Rural Transportation. Fred joined Al-Terra in 2001, after earning a degree in civil engineering with an environmental specialization from the University of Alberta. Prior to coming on board full-time, he worked for the company as part of his university co-op work experience.

While primarily focused on the area of rural transportation, Fred’s career has seen him accumulate experience in a variety of disciplines. In addition to numerous urban arterial road and provincial highway projects, he was involved in land development through his work on Whitetail Crossing in Mundare, and in industrial/commercial development on the Suncor Fort Hills Operators Camp and Strathcona County Snow Melt Facility projects.

Fred has completed several transportation-related courses including roadside design, geometric planning and design, road safety audits, and most recently his Road Safety Professional 1 and 2 certifications. Fred will provide invaluable experience and leadership for the entire team, delivering successful design and construction outcomes on rural transportation projects.
