Al-Terra names Joleen Mazurat as Manager of Urban Transportation
Al-Terra Engineering Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotion of Joleen Mazurat, P.Eng., to the role of Manager of Urban Transportation. Joleen joined the Al-Terra team in May of 2021, bringing with her 15 years of transportation engineering experience with the City of Edmonton.
In addition to her civil engineering degree from the University of Alberta, and the numerous professional development courses and workshops she’s undertaken, Joleen has earned significant experience in transportation planning and design working on key urban renewal projects at the City. As part of the Building Great Neighbourhoods group, she worked on the Alberta Avenue, Belgravia, Garneau, Grandview Heights, Highlands, Kilkenny, Queen Alexandra, Royal Gardens, Spruce Avenue and Strathcona neighbourhood redevelopments, to name a few.
Joleen contributed on major transportation projects such as the Yellowhead Trail Portfolio, Downtown Bike Network, Groat Road & River Valley Road, as well as the redevelopment of key collector roadways throughout Edmonton. She is currently managing Al-Terra’s Gateway Boulevard rehabilitation and reconstruction project from University Avenue to 82 Avenue, as well as an alley renewal bundle in five Edmonton neighbourhoods.
