Award-Winning Urban Design in Edmonton
Al-Terra is pleased to share that at the 2025 Edmonton Urban Design Awards this November, our work on Okîsikow (Angel) Way, part of the Boyle Street and McCauley Neighbourhood Renewal, received an Award of Merit in the Urban Design Plans category. The jury described Okîsikow (Angel) Way as "a powerful reconciliation-driven project" that transforms "a corridor into a cultural and civic statement", highlighting the outstanding "integration of Indigenous knowledge and symbolic design elements". We also congratulate groundcubed on receiving an Award of Merit in the Climate Resilience category for the Klondike Park Redevelopment, a project we were proud to support through our site development team.
