2026 Charity of Choice
Each year, Al‑Terra’s Charity of Choice reflects our commitment to doing what’s right and giving back by focusing our collective fundraising, volunteering efforts, and community support toward a single organization and making a meaningful local impact.
In 2026, we are proud to support Stephen’s Backpacks Society, an Alberta‑based non-profit helping children and families experiencing homelessness. Founded in 2008 after 5‑year old Stephen McPhee said, “Mommy, I need to help them,” the organization provides backpacks filled with essentials, as well as helping families transition into permanent housing. To date, Stephen’s Backpacks Society has delivered over 100,000 backpacks and helped permanently house more than 40 families across Alberta.
