What project are you most proud of and why?
One of the projects I am most proud of is the 51 Avenue Upgrade, completed as part of the LRT Valley Line expansion. This project presented a range of unique challenges, from managing high groundwater conditions to coordinating with five separate pipeline stakeholders for ten pipeline crossings involving both utilities and surface works. Additionally, the project required careful planning and execution of a creek crossing with instream work, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Extensive coordination with multiple business owners along the project corridor was also crucial to minimize disruptions and address their specific needs. Successfully navigating these complexities while delivering a high-quality outcome showcased the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities throughout the year. During the warmer months, I spend my time hiking, camping, biking, and hunting. In the winter, I stay active with snowboarding and cross-country skiing, making the most of the cold weather.

What is your favourite vacation? Or What is on your vacation bucket list?
My favorite vacations always involve a mix of great food and beautiful scenery. On my current bucket list is an adventure through Patagonia in a camper, combining exploration with the freedom to fully take in the area's incredible landscapes.

As the Manager of Developer Arterial Roadways at Al-Terra, I specialize in supporting clients with arterial roadway requirements for land development projects. My approach focuses on fostering confidence, both internally and externally, while upholding Al-Terra’s exceptional company culture and commitment to high-quality client service.

My professional experience spans land development, urban transportation, and water resource business lines, with recent years focused on developer-led arterial roadway projects. In my current role as a manager, I lead teams to deliver seamless project execution, emphasizing responsiveness and excellence to maintain strong client relationships.

Throughout my career at Al-Terra, I have gained extensive experience within the City of Edmonton, developing a deep understanding of private sector development processes and navigating the City’s intricate development procedures. In my previous roles as Team Lead across two business lines, I honed my leadership skills by fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This experience has enabled me to successfully manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while meeting the demands of the development landscape.

In my technical role, I apply innovative solutions that balance client needs and project budgets. Successfully delivering large-scale projects requires not only technical expertise but also strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Through managing multiple projects concurrently, I have refined my skills in time management, prioritization, and fostering teamwork to meet client expectations effectively.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, completed in December 2009, and earned my professional engineer designation with APEGA in 2014. I am passionate about creating innovative solutions that meet client needs and align with Al-Terra’s values of collaboration and integrity.
