I have a strong interest in project management, effective communication, and change management, with a focus on helping teams work through complexity with clarity and purpose. In my current role, I support initiatives and strategic projects by strengthening structured processes, clear project quality objectives, and consistent ways of working. My work also centres on improving corporate project management practices and sharing practical writing and formatting skills that support clear, high‑quality documentation.

My journey to this point has been diverse and rewarding. I spent eleven years at Tetra Tech Canada Inc., where I honed my skills in project coordination, team leadership, and administrative oversight. During this time, I worked closely with technical professionals to manage projects of varying size and scope for a wide variety of clients that required extra organizational and documentation skills.

My academic background is as varied as my professional experience. I hold a Master of Arts in Communication from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Communication from the University of Cape Breton. Additionally, I hold a Master of Engineering in Construction Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. This unique combination of communication and engineering expertise gives me a distinctive edge in my field.

In my downtime, you’ll find me engrossed in a book, working on a crochet project, traveling, paddling or coaching dragon boating.

My approach to work and life is about striving for balance and continuous growth. Whether I’m managing projects, crafting proposals, or steering a dragon boat, I bring enthusiasm and expertise to every challenge. I’m always ready to take on new opportunities and contribute to the success of my team and organization.
