I am a People and Culture leader with a passion for employment branding and employee experience. For over twenty years, I have been honing my skills in talent acquisition, onboarding, manager and employee relationships, compensation and benefits, as well as human resources information systems. I enjoy seeing these disciplines come together to support organizational growth.
I have worked with BioWare and Electronic Arts, provided consulting services to awesome Edmonton-based companies, and was part of a small team that built a manager performance software platform. I enjoy being part of the Edmonton HR ecosystem and celebrating the success of BioWare, AltaML, and now Al-Terra.
As a fan of science fiction, I regularly reference lessons from Star Trek (and even Star Wars) and have the occasional trinket from my favourite franchises at my desk. The Vulcans from Star Trek had diversity, equity, and inclusion figured out a long time ago with their philosophy of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. Also, having my own Wookieepedia page is a pretty cool thing.
