Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-sufficient, proactive, multi-tasking individual who is always looking for a challenge. As the Geomatics Draftsperson/Surveyor, you would be responsible for drafting and surveying various legal survey assignments using Civil 3D. Graduating students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Complete drafting assignments, including real property reports and final grading certificates.
  • Learn and adopt office procedures regarding drafting matters.
  • Communicate and coordinate drafting work with clients, contractors, and coworkers.
  • Comply with regulatory and internal safety procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-year Diploma which includes both drafting and survey qualifications
  • AutoCAD Certificate
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background check

Working Conditions

  • Full Time (40 hours per week)
  • We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work in the office drafting or in the field as a surveyor.
  • Our team works primarily full-time from our office. However, we prioritize employee satisfaction and work-life balance. When possible, we can offer remote working options and flexible hours. These options are subject to workload, departmental needs, and their impact on the team. 
  • Occasional travel and overtime, including weekends, may be required. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate uneven landscapes.
  • Work at a desk for extended periods of time.
