As Al-Terra’s Vice President, Geomatics, I build on my experience as founder of Marker Geomatics (merged with Al-Terra in 2024), leading a team focused on delivering efficient and reliable data and bringing a comprehensive understanding of survey methodology, geospatial data analysis, and project management to projects of all disciplines.

With a diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology in 2003, I began my career as a field representative developing an expertise in the oil and gas, municipal development, and industrial construction sectors. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics Engineering, thus beginning a path to obtaining a professional designation as a Canada Land Surveyor, Alberta Land Surveyor, and a Professional Engineer.

My early career experiences in complex surveying projects featuring large-scale oil and gas infrastructure development led to an interest in projects with large data management and higher accuracy requirements, resulting.in a proven track record of delivering precise, reliable survey data for high-stake projects such as Northwest Refinery, Jacos Hangingstone and most recently the Transmountain Pipeline. Throughout my career, I have leveraged cutting-edge geomatics technologies, including GNSS, LiDAR, and 3D laser scanning, to enhance accuracy and efficiency in data collection and analysis.

Now as a VP, my focus is to position Al-Terra’s geomatics practice as a strategic asset, remaining strong, adaptable, and forward-thinking. I believe the quality of our data directly influences design efficiency, risk management, and long‑term asset performance, and that the way that we collect, analyze, and deliver information provides a reliable, data‑driven foundation for sustainable growth and successful projects well into the future.
