I have been a member of Al-Terra since 2016, working full-time as a project engineer. My focus is on urban renewal projects, where I specialize in updating existing infrastructure to meet modern standards while incorporating streetscaping, traffic calming measures, and active transportation solutions.
I’ve been fortunate to contribute to several impactful projects throughout my career, including the Garneau neighbourhood renewal, which completed the south side bike network connection on 110 Street, and the Maple Plaza streetscape improvements near the High Level Diner. In addition, I led the design of the Boyle Street and McCauley neighbourhood renewal, which included streetscape enhancements near Giovanni Caboto Park and the implementation of low-impact designs to address drainage concerns. These projects reflect my passion for creating infrastructure that fosters community connections and ensures safe, enjoyable mobility for everyone.
I’m committed to continuous learning and professional growth. To deepen my expertise, I completed a Dutch bicycle infrastructure training course in the Netherlands, where I gained valuable insights into designing bike-friendly communities.
Outside of work, I’m an avid runner who enjoys exploring the city on foot. My personal experiences navigating urban spaces inspire my drive to design infrastructure that prioritizes safety and promotes active lifestyles. One of my goals is to help create communities where near-misses with vehicles become a thing of the past for runners, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of thoughtful design to build safer, more connected communities. I take pride in contributing to projects that enhance infrastructure and improve the quality of life for those who live and move through these spaces.
