I’m an Engineer-in-Training with a passion for transportation and road design. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Co-op) from the University of Alberta and shortly after, I joined Al-Terra’s Municipal Engineering department. Although my career is still in its early stages, I’m eager to dive into projects that improve how we move through the world; whether that’s designing roundabouts and roads that keep traffic flowing, creating smoother intersections, or planning transportation systems that will stand the test of time. For me, it’s more than asphalt and concrete; it’s about making travel safer, more sustainable, and more efficient for everyone. I’m driven by the idea that well-designed roads do more than just connect places – they connect people and communities. There’s something truly rewarding about knowing that the work I do today could help improve how people get from point A to point B for years to come.
My previous experience includes providing surveying services to residential and commercial clients as part of a two-person crew, assisting in the management of capital construction projects and subdivision inspections as a municipal representative, and coordinating subcontractors while overseeing quality control for the noise barrier wall scope on the QEII & 65th Avenue Interchange project. Earlier this summer, I had the opportunity to help oversee the construction of the first two City-developed roundabouts in Fort Saskatchewan, which further fueled my passion for municipal engineering. I am currently working towards obtaining my P.Eng designation, and look forward to gaining further experience in all aspects of project planning, from preliminary and detailed design to construction and post construction. In my free time, I enjoy building car-themed Lego sets, playing video games and riding my Ninja 400 throughout the city.
