What is your favourite thing about working at Al-Terra?
My favourite part of working at Al‑Terra is the people. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from mentors who are always willing to share their knowledge and provide guidance. The collaborative environment makes it easy to ask questions and exchange ideas. I value being part of a team that is supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do.

What is your favourite thing about your career or industry?
My favourite part of my career is the opportunity to tackle new and unique challenges every day. I enjoy thinking creatively to find solutions that make a positive impact. It’s rewarding to know that the work I do contributes to building better communities, designing infrastructure and spaces that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life for the people who live and work there.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not at work, I’m happiest spending time with family and friends and staying active. I enjoy playing sports, going to the gym, and trying new activities or challenges. Being active and connecting with the people I care about is a big part of how I enjoy my time outside of work.

I am an Engineer‑in‑Training at Al‑Terra, working with both the Urban Design and Renewal and Land Development departments. I’m passionate about creating safe, sustainable, and equitable designs that promote connectivity within communities. I enjoy seeing projects progress from concept to completion and take pride in the positive impact my work has on the quality of life within the communities we help build.

I have experience in drainage design and traffic calming design for urban renewal projects, as well as surveying and on‑site project coordination for residential subdivision developments. These experiences have allowed me to understand the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects and the importance of collaboration in achieving successful outcomes.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and am currently working toward obtaining my Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
