What project are you most proud of and why?
Northwest Redwater Refinery – I supervised three survey crews in the completion of five site ponds, over 9,000 anchor bolts, one concrete tank foundation, and a concrete pumphouse foundation. Proud of this project as the anchor bolts and concrete scope of work required high accuracy of 3 mm for all horizontal and vertical positions stretch over a work area more that 1 km long.

What is your favourite thing about working at Al-Terra?
Social events and charity fundraising. They add to the work-life balance. It is nice to see a company and its staff support various charities throughout the year.

What is your favourite thing about your career or industry?
My favorite thing about geomatics is that no two jobs are the same and each has their own respective challenges that must be worked through to achieve the end product that is desired.

As a Survey Project Coordinator at Al-Terra I take pride in training new employees on how to survey properly by following industry best practices and company procedures and also ensuring that projects are completed on time and up to quality standards.

I started my survey career in Regina in 2009. After two years in Regina, I moved to Edmonton and started working as a field crew in oil and gas construction over the next seven years. After that, I transitioned into a primarily office role and began managing the safety program as well as coordinating the survey aspect of oil and gas construction projects.

I grew up in NE Saskatchewan in a small town of 2500 people. I played and refereed hockey growing up. I’m a dog lover with a three-year-old shepherd-pitbull cross that loves to lay on the couch.
