I am an Engineer-in-Training working with the Southern Alberta Site Development team. We design site servicing plans and stormwater management plans for residential, commercial, and institutional sites. Our team is full of motivated, resourceful people and I am proud to be a part of it.
At Al-Terra, I have had the opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects and fulfill different roles such as the Lethbridge Alberta Temple where I took on the role of project designer for the servicing and grading design of the site. I was also a part of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) renovation in Calgary, Alberta. I completed a full stormwater management report to incorporate the new design properly. For Rosemont Industrial Park, I took on a land development role, tackling the offsite storm design for multiple roads around our development. I have enjoyed working on a diverse array of projects and am excited to work on more in the future.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary. I am working towards obtaining my professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) by 2026. In the future, I plan to broaden my skill set by gaining an MBA and eventually becoming an engineering manager. I have been inspired by the leaders around me here at Al-Terra to achieve this goal.
Last summer, I co-captained a corporate slo-pitch team in the Calgary office. This was a great opportunity for team bonding outside the workplace, and I was happy to lead our group and teach first-timers how to play! At Al-Terra, we pride ourselves on finishing our work to the highest standard, but we also make time to have fun as a team outside the office.
