As a Technologist in Training at Al-Terra, I have had the pleasure of working with our Urban Design and Renewal team and with our Site Development team. At present, I am working with Site Development on a variety of exciting site projects. I really appreciate the ability to put into practice my learning from school and the practical experience I have gained in this industry, and I look forward to continuing to grow with the Al-Terra team. With a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and design, I bring experience in site inspections, surveying, and preparing detailed project documents (including site development drawings, road plan designs, and as-built drawings). My work emphasizes precision and efficiency, with a focus on creating comprehensive plans for site drainage, and underground utility tie-ins.
I am a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Civil Engineering Technology Co-op program (2023) and Engineering Design and Drafting (2006). Throughout my career, I’ve developed a reputation for being reliable, ambitious, and committed to fostering strong professional relationships. I am particularly proud of my achievement in successfully managing multiple site design projects at various stages. I made sure that all client requests were met by overseeing design development, conducting client meetings, performing on-site inspections, and addressing challenges to keep the projects on track.
My core values drive both my work and personal goals. I strive to grow my expertise in site development and civil engineering, with the long-term aim of managing projects from start to finish. In the future, I hope to achieve my professional designation (C.E.T. and P.L.Eng.) and share my knowledge with others by mentoring new team members.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring new places through road trips and travel. For me, success is a balance of professional growth, meaningful relationships, and time to pursue the activities I love.
