As a Landscape Designer at Al‑Terra, I bring a multidisciplinary background in urban planning and landscape architecture. My work spans streetscape design, residential developments, institutional projects, parks and open space design, and stormwater management facilities. I also bring experience from previous roles in multifamily residential developments and infill projects.
At Al‑Terra, I support projects through concept development, design refinement, and construction documentation. I’m passionate about creating immersive spaces that invite people to engage with their surroundings. These are spaces shaped by sensory experience, cultural context, and environmental resilience. My design philosophy is rooted in placemaking and the belief that landscapes should foster connection and adaptability.
I bring a unique perspective to our team through my background in urban planning and design, along with technical proficiency in CAD drafting and experience with GIS. I’ve collaborated on interdisciplinary projects with engineers, planners, and architects, and I value the exchange of ideas that comes from working across disciplines. Whether refining planting palettes or shaping public realm elements, I aim to approach each project with curiosity, clarity, and attention to detail.
I find the concept development stage especially rewarding. It allows me to show clients how their site can transform through strategic design interventions. I also enjoy seeing a project come to life on-site and the sense of accomplishment that comes from seeing the design take shape after months of work.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and exploring landscapes around the city. I often view these spaces through a critical lens, analyzing what works and imagining how they could evolve. This is an extension of my interest in how design decisions influence everyday experiences.
