I am a Landscape Architect and proud member of both the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects (AALA) and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA). Since earning my Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Calgary and joining Al-Terra in 2020, I’ve had the privilege to work on a diverse range of projects. From designing parks, open spaces, and streetscapes to contributing to cultural landscapes and environmental restoration, I’ve honed my expertise across all project phases from concept development to construction documentation. Notably, I recently led efforts to incorporate indigenous cultural practices into the placemaking process, ensuring that designs resonate deeply with their intended communities. I also take pride in my ability to bring ideas to life through creative visualizations, helping clients and interested partners see the possibilities within each design.
I believe in the power of design to create meaningful connections between people, nature, and culture. My work is guided by a commitment to thoughtful, sustainable, and visually compelling designs that enrich the urban environment while respecting the land and its history. As a designer and emerging project manager, my goal is to deliver landscapes that are as functional as they are inspiring.
Outside of work, I love exploring the natural world that inspires my profession, whether through hiking, traveling, or simply soaking in the beauty of a well-designed public space.
Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
