Our highly skilled project managers are responsible for delivering project results and maintaining quality through consistent processes, adherence to our Professional Practice Management Plan, and independent review of designs and plans to align with client requirements, professional standards, and design guidelines.
Resident Engineering
We offer resident engineering services to align construction with design specifications. Our resident engineers receive training in both construction surveying and design, enabling them to make on-site changes and catch issues early. This approach saves time and budget for the project and our clients, while providing our staff with valuable field experience.
Project Planning
With multidisciplinary expertise, we craft innovative yet pragmatic solutions that align stakeholders and earn widespread adoption and respect. Our teams have the foresight to help our clients understand long-term impacts and we offer a breadth of knowledge and experience. Completed projects include, but are not limited to, trans-national highway planning, freeway interchange design, arterial roadway optimization, and site development traffic impact assessments. We design for rural road networks, municipalities, and urban spaces. We prioritize innovative, cost-effective solutions and integrate cutting-edge technologies and techniques into our planning processes. Al-Terra’s services encompass development applications, preliminary design, land use bylaw and zoning, subdivision design, public engagement, and the creation of urban design guidelines for private and public clients.
Public Engagement
Public engagement is critical to project success, and we provide a point of contact for the community and key stakeholders throughout the engagement process. Our in-house engagement specialist is trained in IAP2 best practices, facilitating inclusive, focused engagement activities. We offer in-person and digital options, empowering community participation. For extensive public engagement programs, we often partner with specialist subconsultants. Our teams are deeply involved in each project, providing prompt and accurate support. We employ a Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) approach to public engagement to identify those impacted by projects and to provide accessible, meaningful engagement within the communities we serve.
